PetKind Free Food for a Month Contest Terms & Conditions
In partnership with PetKind.
PetKind Free Food for a Month Online Giveaway referred to as “The Contest”.
Eligibility
- Open to participants who are residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and at least 18 years of age at time of entry.
- Participants must be located near a Pet Planet store location.
- Employees of Pet Planet, Resilient Management Corp., or PetKind, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.
Agreement to Rules
By participating in this contest, the contestant agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these outlined Rules, and they meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein.
Contest Time Period
- The Contest runs from March 31, 2025, at 12:00 AM MST until April 14th, 2025, at 11:59 PM MST.
- The online contest is hosted on the Pet Planet Health Instagram and Facebook accounts in collaboration with PetKind’s Instagram and Facebook account.
- Pet Planet reserves the right to terminate the contest at any time without prior notice to participants.
How to Enter
Online Contest
- Follow @petkind & @mypetplanethealth
- Tag 1 friend per comment (each tag = 1 entry)
- For extra entries:
- Share and tag Pet Planet Health in your Story for extra entries.
- One online winner will be chosen. The winner must be near a Pet Planet location to collect their winnings.
Prize
- One online winner (for social media contest).
- One winner will receive one 25lb bag of Tripe Dry and one bag of treats.
- Prize is non-transferable and holds no cash value.
- Winner must collect their prize from the designated Pet Planet location.
Winner Selection and Notification
- Online contest winner will be randomly selected from eligible social media entries.
- Online winner will be notified via direct message.
- If a winner does not respond within seven days, an alternate winner may be chosen.
- Pet Planet is not responsible for any failure to receive notifications due to spam filters, incorrect contact details, or other technical issues.
Rights Granted by Participant
- By entering, participants authorize Pet Planet to share their entry and content on social media, ensuring proper attribution.
- The winner must sign a Media Release form at prize collection, allowing Pet Planet to take and use photos of both the winner and their pet for promotional purposes.
Terms & Conditions
Pet Planet reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend The Contest at any time without notice to participants.
Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Pet Planet, PetKind, and their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities, including but not limited to:
- Participation in the contest and/or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
- Technical failures of any kind, including hardware, software, network, or mechanical malfunctions.
- Unavailability or inaccessibility of transmissions, telephone, or Internet services.
- Unauthorized human intervention in any part of the contest.
- Errors in the administration of the contest or processing of entries, whether electronic or human.
Privacy Policy
Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Pet Planet Privacy Policy stated on petplanet.ca

This Contest is sponsored by Pet Planet in partnership with PetKind.
Governing Law
The Contest and these Rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.
