Valentine’s Day Enter to Win Contest Terms & Conditions

Valentine’s Day Enter to Win Free Darford Treats for a Year referred to as “The Contest”.

Eligibility

• Open to participants who are residents of Canada(excluding Quebec) and at least 18 years of age at time of entry.
• Participants must be located near a Pet Planet store location.
• Employees of Pet Planet (or Resilient Management), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

Agreement to Rules

By participating in this contest, the contestant agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these outlined Rules, and they meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein.

Contest Time Period

The Contest runs from February 1, 2025 at 12:00 AM MST until February 14, 2025 11:59 PM MST hosted on the Pet Planet Health Instagram and Facebook accounts solely. Pet Planet reserves the right to terminate the contest at any time without prior notice to participants.

How to Enter

1. Like Pet Planet Health on Facebook OR Follow Pet Planet Health on Instagram.
2. Comment on the contest post #PetPlanetValentine on the platform Liked / Followed.
3. For extra entries:
   1. Tag your Friends to the post
      1. 1 tag = 1 entry
   2. Share and Tag Pet Planet Health on your Story
      1. Story share with proper tag = 10 entries

Prize

• One winner will receive free Darford treats for a year.
• One free bag of 340g Darford treats per month for 12 months – either Grain-Free or Zero/G.
• Prize is non-transferable, and the coupons hold no cash value.
• Redeemable only at the identified Pet Planet location nearest the winner.
• The winner must collect the Winner Sheets from the identified Pet Planet location.
• The winner is solely responsible for the Winner Sheets containing the 12 coupons.
• Pet Planet and Darford will not replace lost or stolen coupons.

Winner Selection and Notification

• The winner will be randomly selected by Pet Planet from eligible entries, ensuring all contest criteria have been met. If a selected winner does not meet the criteria, a re-draw will occur.
• The winner will be notified via direct message on the platform used to enter within one business week of selection.
• If the winner does not respond within seven days, an alternate winner may be chosen.
• Pet Planet is not responsible for any failure to receive notifications due to spam filters, junk mail settings, incorrect contact details, or other technical issues.

Rights Granted by Participant

• By entering the contest, participants authorize Pet Planet to organically feature and share on their social media platforms, ensuring proper tagging and attribution.
• The winner of the contest agrees to, and must sign in full, the Media Release form provided at coupon collection in the identified Pet Planet store location, allowing the identified Pet Planet to take photos of both the human and pet winners to be used on the Pet Planet social media platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, the Pet Planet Health accounts, Darford social accounts, and any individual Pet Planet store location accounts.

Terms & Conditions

Pet Planet reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend The Contest at any time without notice to participants.

Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Pet Planet, Darford, and their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities, including but not limited to:

• Participation in the contest and/or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
• Technical failures of any kind, including hardware, software, network, or mechanical malfunctions.
• Unavailability or inaccessibility of transmissions, telephone, or Internet services.
• Unauthorized human intervention in any part of the contest.
• Errors in the administration of the contest or processing of entries, whether electronic or human.

Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Pet Planet Privacy Policy stated on petplanet.ca

Governing Law

The Contest and these Rules are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.
